Band 1 vereint die Beitrge des Erlanger Symposiums &quote;Hermeneutik und Hermeneuten&quote; mit den Vortrgen der Eichsttter Tagung &quote;Reformation und die Ostkirchen&quote; und der bilateralen theologischen Dialogbegegnung zwischen der Evangelischen Kirche in Deutschland (EKD) und der Rumnischen Orthodoxen Kirche zum Thema &quote;Die Erneuerung der Kirche&quote;. Band 2 dokumentiert die Verleihung der Ehrendoktorwrde der Theologischen Fakultt Tbingen an den kumenischen Patriarchen Bartholomaios I sowie die begleitende Tbinger Tagung &quote;Freiheit aus orthodoxer und evangelischer Sicht&quote; und ergnzt diese durch hier erstmals in deutscher Sprache publizierte Aufstze des kumenischen Patriarchen zu kirchenhistorischen, liturgischen, dogmatischen, ethischen und kologischen Fragen. The third volume documents the theological dialogue between the oriental-orthodox Churches and the Evangelical Church in Germany on the future of Christianity in the Near East and the bilateral dialogue between the evangelical church in Germany and the Moscow Patriarchate on martyrdom and Christian witness.
